Steve Johns Tactical School
TF Instructor, tactical teaches recruits to solve complex military problems quickly, planning to execution. 24-30 year olds and 30-35. so 4-6 year and 8-10 year. He likes taking long walks on the beach and enjoys cuddly animmals. Stephen is in touch with his emotional side and believes in the healing powers of chrystals. He attends today as he is interested in tools to improve his personal hygine and his ability to draw powers from his many chrystals and books of elven law. Stephen is a Dungeons and Dragons enthusiast and owns his own 21 sided dice with which he battles warlocks and avitaurs. He is particuarly proud of the dice as it is topaz in colour and has a sparkle and diaffanous quality that is alluring to the eye. He has indeed used the dice to make a saving throw against a magic missile fired by a 15th level goblin or whatever you make saving throws against. He thinks D&D is a realistic life experience and uses many facits of the game in making real decisions.

Matt Weston is forced to put up with Stephen and Jason on a daily basis. Whilst he accepts his fate he is interested in online systems so he does not have to physicaly enage with them so reguarly. Matts hobbies include attempting to drown himself while learning to surf, a love of Hoff books and

what tools could we use at the school, out of classroom learning, kiosk based maybe since access in barracks is difficult. would like to move away from book based learning

training technology, setting up an LMS hosted by Navy (genisen) chat rooms, wikis etc embedded in it. Most courses over the next 10 years will be moved online (at least in part) pre course material etc.

currently instructors rotate over 3 years, being an instructor limits promotional opportunities
All have cell phones, most have an internet capable computer at home. Majority have used facebook and trademe, half have used skype, no one has used twitter. One has used google docs
